one angler = one open page
every bite = one real proof

how it works

Your page fishes.
You keep the catch.

  1. 1

    Any screen can fish

A laptop, a phone, the old tablet in the drawer. Paste the address you want paid and leave the page open. No download, no sign-up, nothing to sign.

  2. 2

    Every bite is real work

While the page is open, your line solves memory-heavy puzzles tied to your address. Every solved one is a bite, and the server checks each. Every 30 seconds a slice of the pool is split by the work each line did.

  3. 3

    Straight into your wallet

Your catch collects in your creel. Once it holds 0.001 SOL it is sent to your wallet on its own, within a minute. Every transfer is on chain.

Trades stock the lake.
Anglers fish it out.

Every trade of $CAST pays a creator fee. The split is written on chain at launch and can never change: 30% goes to the reward wallet that pays the anglers, 70% to the team that builds and runs afkfish.

the fishing log

Every catch,
on chain.

No payouts yet. Creels over the threshold are emptied into wallets every minute once the pool pays.

rules of the lake

Plain rules.

What does my page actually compute?

Argon2id over a fresh challenge seed, your address and a nonce, with 16 MiB of memory per try. A proof is a nonce whose hash starts with at least d zero bits. It is worth 2^d hashes, the number a line needs on average to find one, so luck evens out and steady work is what counts.

Can a graphics card out-fish my laptop?

It can still be faster, but far less than with ordinary hashes: every try needs 16 MiB of memory, which takes away most of the edge a graphics card has. A laptop and a phone fish side by side.

How is the pool split?

Each 30-second round pays 5% of what the reward wallet holds beyond what it already owes and a small reserve for network fees. That slice is split over the round's credited work. When fees run dry, the lines rest on their own until they come back.

When do I get paid?

Creels of 0.001 SOL or more are emptied into wallets every minute, many wallets in one transaction. Smaller catches wait and keep growing. Every transfer is on chain and in the fishing log.

Do I need $CAST?

No. Holding it multiplies your credited work: . Balances are read from the chain every two minutes while your line is out.

What stops cheating?

Every challenge is tied to one address, so work can't be reused for another. The server recomputes every proof; one that doesn't match benches its address and its network for ten minutes.

Do I sign anything?

No. The page only needs the address you want paid. No wallet connection, no signature, no approval.
